This year I am proud to be participating in the Pan-Mass Challenge. PMC is a bike-a-thon founded in 1980 that has raised more than $1 billion for cancer research, treatment and patient care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. The funds I raise support the innovative work of doctors, nurses, and scientists in their search for cures for cancers and related diseases.

I will be riding on Saturday, August 2nd, following an 84-mile route from Wellesley to Bourne. This will be the farthest ride that I have ever done but they put the word challenge right there in the name so I have been fairly advised. I'm looking forward to training for this ride and getting to dedicate more time to going on bike rides.
