August 2022 I was leaving Cape Cod to support my mother through her breast cancer surgery and recovery. I drove past hundreds of riders in the PMC and was so grateful for each of them and the impact they had on finding a cure. I knew I wanted to ride, then it was extremely clear when that same fall, my sister was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. It was very scary and we are so grateful that the procedure to remove the cancer was effective. Upon registering for the PMC ride, I heard horrible news - two of my close friends had breast cancer, diagnosis and surgeries weeks apart.

I am riding the PMC ride this to honor my mom, grandma, mother in law, and dear friends who have battled breast cancer. While I am grateful for the life saving medicine and advancements, we need to continue to invest in improving outcomes and beating cancer. 100% of rider-raised revenue from the PMC goes directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure. My fundraising is earmarked specifically for breast cancer research.

I am riding because I want to be involved in fighting cancer. I will challenge myself and body. I challenge you to please donate to this amazing cause.
