Hello friends and family,
I have registered for my home state's signature fundraising ride the Pan-Mass Challenge! I'm riding the PMC in August 2024, because it's leading the charge to beat cancer. This event and fundraiser is personal for me, as it is for many of you. Not too long ago, I was diagnosed with a form of leukemia that is treatable and not life-threatening, thanks to the amazing research being done at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. I have committed to ride the Wellesley century on August 4th to help this important cause.
The PMC is the largest fundraiser for the Jimmy Fund, a non-profit organization that supports cancer research at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. I will be riding with team FLAMES in support of the PMC and its charge to beat cancer. In fact, 100% of rider-raised revenue goes directly to support the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure.
I realize that times are challenging, but philanthropy is still the best way to continue supporting the research and discovery efforts at Dana-Farber. I ride to make a difference, and you can too. I am asking all my friends and family members for their assistance in helping me raise my target fundraising goal of $9,000 to be donated to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. Thank you for your donations and help!
