Riding in the PMC is a way for me to honor far too many people that have been tragically taken from us by this dreadful disease, including my father, both of my grandfathers and my wife’s uncle. This will be my sixth time (after a 6-year hiatus) tackling the two-day route to Provincetown as a member of Team LungStrong, which was founded by Diane Legg from Amesbury, MA, a family friend who was diagnosed with lung cancer over 10 years ago. Diane has been fighting the tough fight for years, is one of the strongest advocates for lung cancer fundraising in New England and a huge inspiration to all the members of our team. I'm riding to honor the loved ones we’ve lost and to do what we can to ensure we don’t lose anymore.
