I am excited to be participating in my first PMC this August, a challenge I am undertaking with a mix of excitement and profound contemplation. This ride is especially meaningful to me as it commemorates the 5th anniversary of my beloved father-in-law Jerry's passing. Jerry was a remarkable man, known for his immense strength and love, who was taken from us much too soon. His enduring spirit inspires me daily.
Cancer has taken too much from too many, and through the PMC, I aim to transform our sorrow into a potent force for good. In particular I am looking forward to riding through Cape Cod with the visual reminders of family vacations with Jerry. It's a place that symbolizes joy, relaxation, and precious family moments, and I look forward to reliving those cherished memories with every mile pedaled.
