I ride as a way to give back and to do something positive in the world. I am specifically riding for my late mother in law, Mary Miller, and for many other family members and friends that have been affected by Cancer.
This will be my sixth year riding the PMC, and have to say, I have been a part of a lot of group activities in my life, and many that I felt were life changing as a teacher or performer. NOTHING compares to the joy I felt being able to give back and participate in this ride. EVERY dollar I raise goes towards the cause, please consider helping in any way that you can. EVERY penny helps!
I am even more honored to be able to participate as part of Team Vic Firth - in honor of the man himself who gave so much to music, and to my career. I owe Vic a ton, and this is but one small way to say thank you in his honor, and help raise money for such a deserving cause.
I'm a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer. In fact, last year 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure.
Cancer sucks and I am doing what I can to help find a cure. Please donate if you can.
