I am very excited to participate in my first Pan-Mass Challenge - a bike-a-thon that raises more money for charity than any other single athletic fundraising event in the country - to bring us Closer by the Mile to a cure for cancer.

I am riding for all of my friends and family who have been impacted by cancer. Whether fighting it directly, or watching loved ones suffer through endless treatments. Cancer doesn't care about who you are or where you're from. It takes indiscriminately and leaves a wake of devastation in its path. I am riding in honor of all those impacted, in memory of all those lost, and with a hope to keep the fight away from my doorstep and the doorsteps of all those I love.
