My ride is in honor of my sister, Cheryl Boli, who passed in August of 2020 from breast cancer as well as in hope for a future cure for this disease that impacts so many.
My sister was an amazing person that touched many lives in her community and thoroughly enjoyed bringing happiness to others. She was also the glue for our family, always putting others first. For many years she was the school nurse in her hometown of Falmouth and touched many lives both in capacity as a nurse as well as being a compassionate and caring person.
She fought a very hard battle with her cancer, never giving up and trying many experimental treatments. There is no doubt that Dana Farber gave her hope and extended her time with us. We are all grateful for that.
I also ride in gratitude of the treatments that are available to help myself and others beat this disease. I am doing well after several rounds of treatment for my Lymphoma. I ride to be another person of many that has proved that it is possible to overcome this disease whether that's permenantly or temporarily. The treatment options that are available are nothing short of amazing.
Thank you for reading my story and I appreciate your consideration of a donation towards this cause, 100% of rider-raised revenue goes directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure.
