Recently I've committed to raising $6,000.00 for cancer research by riding in the 2025 Pan-Mass Challenge.
My motivation to ride is for my two siblings and my dearest childhood friend who have all been diagnosed with cancer.
This is my first PMC ride and it's been a while since I've been on a bike for any long distance riding.
My course will be from Wellesley to Provincetown in two days.
Last year, I was a volunteer for PMC at the halfway point doing massage therapy for the cyclists. Their dedication, positive energy and inspiring stories renewed my enthusiasm to get back on my bike for a challenging , feel-good, worthwhile event.
So the first weekend in August, I will join thousands of cyclists in the PMC, an annual bike-a-thon that raises money for research and care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) in Boston.
I hope I can count on your support!
There is a lot riding on us
With the potential to lose significant NIH funding, the work we have all championed for 45 years is threatened. Dana-Faber needs our help more than ever.
