I'm back on the bicycle and training for the 2024 edition of the Pan-Massachusetts Challenge.
I'll be riding from home to Wellesley (official start) on Saturday August 3rd, then to Bourne (Mass Maritime Academy). Sunday August 4th I'll ride from there to Provincetown.
I ride in 2024 in honor of friends and family that have been affected by cancer. As sponsors nominate names to honor, I'll list them here.
This year it's really personal. My eldest child Cheryl, was treated Summer 2024 for Melanoma. We await the post-surgical reports.
I ride in honor of:
In memory of:
I also ride for friends and family named by sponsors in previous years.
I ride the PMC because it does a great job supporting the riders while being very efficient with its fundraising. This year 100% of rider-raised revenue will go directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure.
I ride again this year as a member of Team Lick Cancer.
Last year my sponsors donated over $14,100 to support cancer research and treatment. WOW!
This year I'm increasing my goal to $14,814 in sponsorships.
I'm a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading the way to beat cancer.
