I have been working in a lung cancer research lab at the non-profit Dana-Farber Cancer Institute for 3 years. Last year, my father and I were both diagnosed with cancer within weeks of each other and the research I have been involved in became even more personal. Thanks to the extraordinary efforts put in to cancer research since DFCI's founding 71 years ago, both of us are still alive. Many, many others are not. I am riding for them.

I am riding 200 miles to raise $5000 to help fund research at DFCI that will make cancer no longer the last part of so many people's lives. We still have a long way to go, and we can't get there without your help. No matter the $ value of your contribution, every penny of it will go towards advancing the research efforts of a DFCI lab.
