In less than two weeks, on August 3rd, I’ll be riding my 23rd Pan Mass Challenge. Over the past 23 years, with your help, I’ve raised over $119,700 for cancer research and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Those funds have helped the Jimmy Fund/DFCI develop treatment and cures for cancers that touch so many. Thank you to all who have contributed in the past and for continuing to support my upcoming 2024 PMC ride. 100% of every rider-raised dollar donated goes to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

The money raised by PMC riders for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute - $72,000,000 in 2023 - and $1 Billion since 1980. This is making a difference in improving detection, developing new and innovative cancer treatments, and most importantly, increasing cure rates. By supporting my ride, you are helping to make that difference.

As in the past, I am designating the money I raise for the PMC to myeloma research at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in support of a friend who has multiple myeloma. It's a blood cancer that develops in the bone marrow causing malignant myeloma cells to form and attack the bones. Approximately 20,000 cases are diagnosed a year. There is no cure for multiple myeloma at this time, only treatment. That is why raising money for myeloma research to find a cure is so important.

Cancer takes the lives of 600,000+ people in the US every year. Please do what you can to help fight cancer.
