I ride for Cat. My heart. My soul. My beloved daughter who suffered from her battle with Epithelioid Sarcoma cancer more than anyone can ever imagine. Catherine was our soul, our sunshine. She was pure joy, full of warmth, kindness, a crazy wit, wildly loyal and everyone's biggest cheerleader. She made everyone she met feel so very special. We miss her every second of every day. The Saturday of the PMC 2025, August 2, will be the 10 year anniversary of Catherine's death. To the day. That day will be incredibly emotional for all of our family but, what an incredible way to honor Catherine's memory than by doing so much good in her honor.
I am riding as a proud member of the Arlington Angels. The Arlington Angels are an incredible group of riders with a connection either to Arlington or to the people for whom we ride: Matt Griffin, Pat Doherty, Catherine Malatesta and Dan Kelly.....amongst many others. We are humbled to ride with these super heros. The team is poised to hit the $1,000,000 lifetime fundraising goal with this ride.
The money that Gregg, Drew, Reid, Taylor and I raise with the Arlington Angels will be funnelled directly to a new Adolescent and Young Adult Sarcoma program at Dana-Farber. This is a program that Catherine would have benefitted from tremendously and one that we are very proud to support. The five of us have pledged to collectively raise $50,000 for this program.
100 percent of every dollar I raise goes directly to Dana-Farber, meaning that your donation has a real impact! Please donate to my PMC fundraising and help me reach my fundraising goal.
Looking forward to riding with Cattitude!!
Thank you.
Jen
