Welcome to my PMC web page - thanks for visiting,
This year marks my 23nd consecutive year riding the Pan Mass Challenge to raise funds for research and patient care at the Dana-Farber Cancer institute.
Once again approximately 6,500 bikers will ride one of sixteen different route configurations from 25 miles to 192 miles over one or two days.
All PMC riders are driven by the knowledge that our collective efforts benefit so many who battle cancer. First and foremost are the patients but also their families, doctors, care givers and the researchers who continue to find causes and create new life-saving therapies. So the more funds we raise the sooner we will aproach our ultimate finish line - A World Without Cancer.
With that in mind, I'm asking for your support of cancer patients everywhere, including me, though the work at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and its Jimmy Fund with a contribution to my PMC ride this year. As for my situation, a fortunate serindipitous early detection was resolved with a set of procedures. Also fortunately, my follow up is essentially precautionary tracking into the future - thanks to my amazing team at MGH. Mine is just another tale of how these funds are supporting amazing research and patient care.
To make a donation open the Donate To My Ride tab (above). You can donate via your credit or debit card, ApplePay, Venmo or Fidelity Charitable DAF. And if you prefer to write a check, please make it to The Jimmy Fund / PMC and send it to me at 152A Trapelo Road - Lincoln, MA 01773.
Thank you very much for your consideration. I'll keep all my supporters appraised of my training and our collective fund raising efforts.
Be well and stay safe,
Jack
