I'm ridiing with Team Heidi's Heroes to raise funds that will directly support Neuroendocrine Cancer Research Program lead by Dr. Jennifer Chan at the Dana Farber. My friend, Dr. Heidi Fischer, is living with this disease every day because of the work they do at Dana Farber.

My friend Heidi is a Needham resident and physician. In 2010 she developed pancreatic neuroendocrine cancer (think Steve Jobs and Aretha Franklin). She is living with this less common cancer thanks to an FDA drug that was recently approved. Fortunately, the nation’s top researchers of this cancer are at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.

I will ride 50 miles in one day, but my hero, Heidi, will ride 85 miles in one day!

Our Team's Goal: To further research in pancreatic neuroendocrine cancer at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute by raising at least $100,000 for Dr. Chan’s research lab and to bring awareness to the general public about this cancer. 100% of donations will go directly to this cause.
