What better way to start my 50th journey around this crazy world then to ride 50 miles for an amazing cause. I will be joining my wife and very close friend riding from Wellsley to Foxborough and then back to Wellsley totaling 50 miles while raising $2000 for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Yeah, about my close friend that I will be riding with... I've known him close to 30 years now, played on sports teams with him, I've lived with him while at college, worked for him and with him, we have ridden two century rides together just for fun. He has ridden the PMC 11 times before while raising thousands and thousands of dollars for the Dana Farber Institue and this past year he tested positive for melanoma an aggressive form of skin cancer.. So when Greg asked me this year to do the PMC how could I say no?? It was a given that I would have my ass go numb at mile 10 and stick it out another 40 miles.
The 50 miles on ass small seat is the easy (ish) part for me, I can suck it up for the long hall. Asking people to support my ride financially is the hard part for me. So this is my best go at it.. Thank you all so much for supporting me and this amazing cause.

I'm a proud participant in the Pan-Mass Challenge - a bike-a-thon that raises more money for charity than any other single athletic fundraising event in the country - to bring us Closer by the Mile to a cure for cancer.
Since its founding in 1980, PMC riders like me have raised more than $1 billion for lifesaving cancer research, treatment and patient care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, one of the country's top cancer care hospitals. My PMC is making a difference in the lives of patients at Dana-Farber and around the world. The funds I raise support the innovative work of doctors, nurses, and scientists in their search for cures for cancers and related diseases.
100 percent of every dollar I raise goes directly to Dana-Farber, meaning that your donation has a real impact! Please donate to my PMC fundraising and help me reach my fundraising goal.
