Why I Ride ...
Dear Family and Friends,
On August 3rd and 4th I will once again be riding in the Pan-Mass Challenge. This will be my 17th year, and I will continue to ride for those who are unable to.
The two day 192-mile route raises crucial funds in the fight against cancer. Every mile pedaled will bring us closer to a cure. These critical funds are making a difference in the lives of cancer patients around the world.
I ride in honor of my mother who lost her battle with lung cancer in December of 2011. She fought for seven long years. I miss her dearly and I know how much she is a part of this and how much she is with me.
This year I will once again be riding with Team Lungstrong. I am excited to be part of such a great cause every year and I am looking forward to riding with a great team. As I conquer every mile I will remember my mother and all of my loved ones that have lost their battle. I will remember my mother's dear friend Gina who bravely battled, and who is missed very much. I ride for Nancy Cashel, Andy, Tommy, David Knox, Barbara Jones, Uncle Bob, Uncle Joe Cruise, Peter Cruise. Thank you to everyone for the continued support.
