Why I Ride ...
Hello friends, family, and PMC supporters,
After sitting out last year, I am back in the saddle for another year of riding and fundraising for the Pan Mass Challenge. This will be my first ride along the full route after 2 “reimagined” rides. I’ll be joining forces again with my sister, Janine, and the rest of our team, Nashua Rides for Hope, grinding out nearly 200 miles from Sturbridge to Provincetown. It has been 4 years since my dad passed away after his battle with Multiple Myeloma and not a day goes by that I do not think of him. He and Nolan would have been best buds, cracking each other up babbling back and forth with every visit. I ride to honor his memory and to support the efforts of Dana Farber cancer researchers so that one day no one’s life is cut short due to cancer.
I just recently got back on our Peloton to begin some preparation and conditioning. It has been incredibly humbling, I am nowhere near my previous fitness levels so I am truly in for it and working hard to prepare.
I've made a $6,000 commitment to the PMC but would love to raise much more! Please consider donating, any amount helps.
Thank you,
Joe
