Why I Ride ...
Thank you for visiting my fundraising page in support of this years Pan Mass Challenge. Although this year looks alot different, I am excited to be a part of this team supporting this incredible cause. Every single dollar raised goes directly to the Jimmy Fund to support cancer care and research at Dana Farber Cancer Institute to aid in finding a cure for this awful disease. I signed up to ride this year to do my small part in hopes to make a difference in fighting this horrible disease that affects so many of us. Three years ago I lost my grandmother to cancer. At the time she was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian, but with the help of nurses and doctors and treatment available today we were able to have 5 more beautiful years with her. Her fight, her strength and the incredible pain every family endures when losing a loved one motivates me to ride. She donated to Pediatric cancer research every year for as long as I can remember. I want to ride in support of all the patients and families whose lives have, or will be affected by cancer, and who depend on the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Our team of 31 riders has a goal this year to raise $300K, with all proceeds going directly to Dana Farber. I hope you consider donating in support of this incredible cause. Thank you, Jessie
