This is my 13th year supporting the PMC. Our Team, #Kristenstrong, is a dedicated team of friends and family, who ride with the hope that cancer will one day be eradicated. I feel very fortunate to have the opportunity to participate in this event. I enjoy my training rides with my wife Kim, and it is on those rides, I have time to reflect on how cancer has affected my family, friends, and those I ride beside during PMC weekend. I ride with a heavy heart for those who have been burdened with this horrible disease, and for their families who show love beyond measure as they take the long journey with them. I ride in honor and with love for my friend Bill, who passed away in 2021 after a courageous 14yr. battle with multiple myloema, and for Pete LaSonde, a four time cancer survivor, who passed away in March '22 at the age of 94. I continue to honor my Mom, a breast cancer survivor, who left us in 2019 at the age of 93. I ride in memory of my sister-in-law Kristen, my friends Doug Hashburger, Joe Fougere, Bob Paquette and Beverly LaSonde and my cousins Doug and Happy Smith, and Pat Saber. And, I ride in thankgiving for my good friends Al, Rob, and David, who continue to fight their own brave battles. Thanks so much to all who have supported our ride!!
Sincerely,
Joe
I'm a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer. In fact, last year 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure.
