On August 2nd and 3rd, Lisa and I will be riding in the Pan Mass Challenge for the fifth time. We ride this year with a special reminder of how important it is to continue our work of trying to eradicate cancer. I am recovering from recent surgery for prostate cancer, my second cancer surgery in five years, and so I am especially aware of how much I owe to the wonderful doctors at Dana Farber/Brigham. We continue to ride to support the work necessary to cure all, not just some, cancers. We ride in memory of those who were not as fortunate as i have recently been, including my wife Hoong Wei, who we lost 15 years ago, my dad Marion, who we lost 18 years ago, and three friends and former law partners we lost in the last few years.

Lisa, also a cancer survivor, and I are luckier than many, and we ride so that others will benefit from the wonderful work being done by the dedicated doctors and researchers at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. They truly do make miracles there, and it is good to know that every year 100% of rider-raised revenue goes directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure.
