This August, I'm riding in the Pan-Mass Challenge - a 2-day, 186-mile bike ride across Massachussets - to fundraise for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute as part of the Bain Capital team!

This ride means more to me than just a personal challenge. Over the past few years I have lost my wonderful Aunts (Barbara Cowan & Mary Ling) to this terrible disease. This year, I've decided to ride both the Pan Mass Challenge and run the Chicago Marathon in their honour, to help others facing the same battle.

Dana-Farber is one of the world's leading cancer research and treatment centers. Since its founding in 1980, PMC riders like me have raised more than $1 billion for lifesaving cancer research, treatment and patient care. My PMC is making a difference in the lives of patients at Dana-Farber and around the world. The funds I raise support the innovative work of doctors, nurses, and scientists in their search for cures for cancers and related diseases.
