Happy Summer!
I am staring down my 7th Pan Mass Challenge ride in four short weeks, which means I may have reached out to you as many times in order to do my part in fundraising for this extraordinary event and cause. I am so grateful for your support -- it cannot be overstated!
For obvious reasons it is easy to recommit every year to the cause of taking down cancer. Cancer sucks. Encouragingly, it is also easy to sign up for this 190-mile ride because of the incredible and tangible progress being made at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute using PMC-donated dollars. Here is just one story of the impact made by donors to the PMC. As the PMC nears a cumulative fundraising total of $1B dollars over 40+ years, it's easier to comprehend how one little event could truly be moving the needle. Pretty incredible!
If you would like to make a donation, click on the red Donate to My Ride button on this page.
If you prefer, you may make a check payable to the Pan-Mass Challenge and include my donor ID (HH0041) in the memo field. Checks can be mailed to: The PMC, 77 4th Avenue, Needham, MA 02494.
Thank you thank you and hope to see you all soon in these warm summer months.
Fondly,
Hannah
p.s. You'll note that this year I didn't include any self-deprecating anecdote about my woefully inadequate "training regime" to date. Should that lead you to believe that is because I have become a diligent and disciplined cyclist over the last 12 months, perhaps inspired by Netflix's new "Unchained" series, I have not. The good news is my legs will be extremely "fresh" on PMC weekend as my tapering strategy began the day after last year's PMC.
