Hello friends - I hope you are enjoying the start of summer. It’s always a great time to spend with our families and enjoy the things we love.

My summer is exciting because I am thrilled to ride in my 2nd Pan Mass Challenge Cancer fundraiser ride on August 2nd and 3rd. I can’t say that I am an avid biker, but I am moved by this cause and will be riding from Wellesley to Provincetown over 2 days for a total of 162 miles.

Like so many others, cancer has affected my life through friends, family, and colleagues fighting variations of the illness. Some individuals have made it known while so many fight in silence to minimize the burden on others. Everyone is courageous.

I am riding with Team Flames benefiting leukemia research to help Dana Farber Cancer Institute, the premier Cancer Research Hospital, find a cure for this blood disease. The good news is that 100% of every dollar raised goes directly to Cancer Research. Last year, the event raised over $72 Billion with every dollar going to the cause.

I know that many have been saddened by the loss of a loved one, or better yet, moved by the stories of a survivor in remission. This is made possible by the doctors and research at hospitals like Dana Farber. I can’t wait to do my part and ask for any donation to my cause to help the many that are fighting to eradicate this terrible disease that impacts so many.

So much good has happened, but we still have a long way to go. If you are willing and able to support my ride, any amount helps.
