Giving back and is an enormous part of who I am and how I would like to one day be remembered.

Here we are at the PMC 2024 You know why I ride? I ride for those who woke up not having a choice but to fight. For those that despite being a good person got the sh*t sentence of getting cancer. I ride because people need us too. I’m certainly not ready to pedal these miles but I honor those that fight and every dollar is a a step to being close to a cure.

My story of how it became personal is below:

In 2014 one of the most important and influential people in my life was diagnosed with stage four cancer. Not being the kind of person who can sit back and just allow things to happen, I knew I needed to be a contributor. The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is a world-renowned organization recognized as the best in cancer treatment. The moment that I stepped foot into the hospital I was blown away and immediately knew why. When a diagnosis like this is passed onto someone you love you're overcome with emotions. Sacred, frustrated, angry and nervous of what the journey will have in store. With the help of EVERY professional there I was never frustrated or dissatisfied with the treatment process. Rather, I was overcome with the desire to help support this organization so that more families could experience the same level of care.
