I ride because I CAN. I am so fortunate. But not everyone is. Cancer has affected the lives of so many people that I know and love. I've lost people I love dearly. We all have. I also know many that have fought and survived. This year's ride, my fourth, is for dear friends Linda Kaufman, Sue Carle and Sheila Leif. Three amazing women who know first hand the battle of fighting cancer. Proud to have them as friends and to dedicate this ride to them!
I am ready to ride for Linda, Sue and Sheila, and all those who continue to battle and those whose fight has ended and will remain forever in our hearts. Please consider a donation- no amount is too small. Every bit will help me reach my goal of $2000 and help insure that those who need it can receive the best possible care and treatment. And hopefully someday soon we will be able to say that we helped find a cure for this disease that affects so many.
100% of every volunteer-raised dollar is donated to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute through its Jimmy Fund. I've made a personal commitment to the Pan-Mass Challenge because I believe my participation makes a difference. So I hope I can count on your help.
With honor and love,
Gari
