Why I Ride ...I’m riding for more time in memory of my father.
One in a Billion PMC 2024!!
This will be my third year riding in the Pan-Mass Challenge in memory of my father. I couldn’t be prouder to be riding with my incredible M&T Bank team as we serve as co-lead sponsor with the Red Sox Foundation.
When my father was diagnosed with cancer he acknowledged that we will all pass some day. What he was fighting for was just a little bit more time. Time to be with his family, time to watch his grandchildren grow, time to enjoy some of the things he had put off while he built the life he dreamt of for his family.
I lost my father in 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. Through it all he never lost his sense of humor or his tremendous love for living his best life (under the best and worse circumstances). The only question he asked towards the end of his life was, “How is it that we haven't found a cure for cancer? I just want just a little more time.
I am also riding in memory or Chanel Ward (07/2024) and in honor of my dear friend Hope Zabar who currently is undergoing treatment for cancer.
I'm asking for your support to help find cures and treatments for cancer so EVERYONE has more time.
All my fundraising proceeds will go to the “Jennifer Crombie Fund for Ovarian Cancer Research”, established by her husband Dr. David Berg.
