In August, I will again be riding the Pan-Mass Challenge and it will come as no surprise that I hope I can once again count on your support.
To put it in context, in 1980, the PMC raised $10,000 and this year, the PMC has a goal of raising $75 million. Over that time and based on fund raising so far this year, the PMC just passed $1 billion raised for research at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. And over the course of my riding 35 of those 45 years, the team I ride with, Team Elisha, has been an important part thanks to your support over those many years raising more than $3 million. The number of riders has increased from under 1,000 in 1990 to over 6,000 today.
