Team Brave Like Blake will be riding in the 2025 Pan-Mass Challenge in honor of Blake Ravanis, who was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma in August at the age of five. Right after her diagnosis, Blake started multiple treatments, and after recovering from a 14-hour surgery, Blake went back to school in December. Unfortunately, a scan in March showed that Blake's fight is not over yet, with her Neuroblastoma reemerging. Blake is now back in her cycles of treatment, not backing down in her fight against this terrible disease.
Since the diagnosis, the entire Ravanis family have expirienced an outpouring of love and support from so many people in their community—meal drop-offs, gifts, texts, calls, outings with Blake's three siblings, and more. Despite everything, Team Brave Like Blake was created to harness that love and keep it going. Our mission is to bring the massive support group that we know is out there for Blake to light for the entire Ravanis family, taking this absolutely terrible thing that has happened to them and turning it into something that will put a smile on their faces.
PMC weekend will mark the one-year anniversary of Blake's diagnosis, and what better way to celebrate than to show cancer that it messed with the wrong community, the wrong family, and most importantly the wrong little girl. Our goal is to raise $100,000 in honor of Blake.
