Despite the amazing, compassionate care Greg received at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Brigham and Women's Hospital, Greg ran out of time in his battle against a rare form of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.  In December, he decided not to pursue dialysis.  He came home into hospice care and managed another month of quality time and memories.

Greg rode almost 25 miles of the Wellesley to Provincetown route last year.  An incredible feat considering he had cancer, kidney disease, congestive heart failure and shingles.  He was so proud to participate in the Living Proof photo at the Mass Maritime Academy in Bourne.

Greg fought his disease with such quiet strength and grace.  Our son, Evan, and I will continue to honor Greg's journey by riding the PMC with many of our dear friends in his memory.  If you would like to sponsor our ride, please go to Evan's, or my page to donate.
