PMC 2020 is my turn to join the ride against cancer. Whether it be a close family member, a dear friend, a work colleague, a neighbor or possibly yourself, we all have been impacted by this devastating disease. I think of my Aunt Jean and my dear childhood friend, Mike, both of whom I have lost to cancer. I will be honoring them on my weekend PMC team ride this August.

I am riding on Team 3G to raise money and awareness about lung cancer. My work colleague and friend, Gregg, is a late stage lung cancer survivor. Last year, he underwent chemotherapy, radiation treatment, and surgery to remove a portion of his lung. Gregg has made a strong recovery and PMC's financial support of the Lowe Center of Thoracic Oncology helped him get the best treatment available. We need more success stories like Gregg!

Every PMC is important to raise money for research but this year is an especially critical year to raise funds to support the treatment of immunocompromised cancer patients. Please join me!
