I am deeply honored to be getting my 200 miles in (this year from California, as I’m 8 months pregnant) for the seventh year in a row, riding with the CRUS11TOUR team in memory of our dear family friend, Davey Hovey, who passed away after a 16-month battle with Stage IV Glioblastoma Multiforme at the young age of 26.

Davey leaves behind an incredible legacy – one that has raised $6.4M+ to directly improve and save the lives of thousands at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. He will always remain a source of inspiration and goodness to me and my family, and I’m incredibly proud to represent him when I put on the #11 jersey. In Davey’s words, we must Keep the Faith!

I also ride in memory of: Paul Simeon (#66), Sue Pytka, Maureen O'Shea, Steph Smith, Julie Verrengia, Jacqueline Beck (JRB), my grandparents, and so many others who were taken, or deeply affected, far too soon by this vicious disease.

I ride in honor of: my Mom, my Dad, and so many more who have privately battled this disease in their lifetime or continue to fight it today.
