It was my 5th birthday and as I turned the corner for breakfast, my eyes caught a glimpse of the most beautiful sight I had ever seen. It was deep purple, glistening in a metallic coat, and adorned with a set of tassels on each handle bar. My new bike meant one thing, independence!

It was an incredible feeling, the type feeling that every kid deserves to experience. That’s why I have accepted the Pan Mass Challenge and will partner with Precision for Kids - to seek a cure for cancer and see to it that every kid has a shot at independence.

Precision Medicine matches each person’s cancer treatment with their specific gene profile. This could ultimately lead to major breakthroughs in both the effectiveness and side effects of cancer treatment, as well as the success in controlling the disease.
