After growing up and seeing the constant TV advertisements and saying that I would sign up next year, I finally took the plunge in 2015 and signed up. About 5 minutes into volunteering on the day before my ride, I was kicking myself that I had taken so long to participate. Once I saw so many people volunteering to assist the riders and felt the energy surrounding the weekend long event, I realized there was no place I would rather be on the first weekend in August every year.

For my 10th PMC. I will be riding 50 miles from Babson to Gillette Stadium and back. Each mile I ride will be a reminder for everything that the Dana Farber Cancer Institute does for the thousands of patients they serve each year. How they give so many of their patients and their families a second chance at life.
