I'm thrilled to be riding again in the PMC with Team NextGen, a group started in 2019 by two of my high school classmates that has grown to over 100 riders. Our team has the privilege of riding this year on behalf of our Pedal Partner, Sophia. Sophia is an incredibly brave three-year old battling choroid plexus carcinoma. Outside of her current fight, Sophia loves to spend time with her one-year-old husky named Maverick, as well as her favorite movie characters, Olaf and Elsa from Frozen! Sophia is a direct beneficiary of the PMC’s fundraising efforts and we are thrilled to support her continued fight in hopes that she too will be a cancer-free graduate of the program.

Everyone has been affected by cancer in some way and finding a ‘why’ for an event like this is unfortunately all too easy. I’m grateful for this opportunity to fundraise in support of those who are fighting, or have fought, cancer. I would be immensely grateful for any amount you might be willing to donate to my ride.
