Dear Friends,
I hope I can count on your support.
The PMC raises more money for charity than any other single event in the country, Since its founding in 1980, the PMC has contributed $767 million to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, which uses those funds for cancer research and treatment. This success is the result of a lot of people riding for, and caring about, a cure. And because every penny matters, 100 percent of your donation goes to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
This year, on August 8th, I (along with my daughter (Rachael) and my wife (Pam) and several of my colleagues at Diameter Health) will be participating in the Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC), a cycling event that raises money for The Jimmy Fund, the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's outreach arm. For more than 50 years, Dana-Farber has been at the forefront of cancer treatment and research and has contributed to many of the most important advances in fighting cancer.
This will be my 15th year participating in the PMC. I do this ride to honor those who've battled cancer (or are currently battling it). I also ride as part of team Living Proof -- a group of several hundred “Living Proof” riders and volunteers who participate each year in the PMC.
I’m asking friends and family for their support. Rachael, Pam and Team Diameter will do the riding, all you have to do is contribute to our effort! Donations can be made in two ways. First, and easiest, is you can use the following links to make a donation by credit card:

Every donation brings us closer by the mile.
If you prefer, you can also contribute the old-fashioned way and mail me a check payable to PMC/Jimmy Fund (5 White Oak Lane, Avon, CT 06001). All donations are tax-deductible.
While today there are many athletic fundraising events, the PMC channels 100% of every rider-raised dollar directly to The Jimmy Fund. It’s the most successful fundraising event for charity in the nation, and also among the leanest. To date, the PMC has raised more than $455 million that has been used to improve the lives of those suffering with cancer. This year’s fundraising goal is to raise $45 million for cancer research through this single event. Last year’s event had over 9,000 riders, 3,000 volunteers, 46 communities, 200 companies and 230,000 contributors. More information about the PMC, the Jimmy Fund, and Dana-Farber is available at www.pmc.org.
Thank you so much for your consideration and support.
Sincerely,
Eric
