Why I Ride Each Year! Because I Can!
This is my 14th PMC! I ride each year because I feel the PMC makes an incredible difference in funding innovatiove cancer research and amazing patient cancer care. As an oncology nurse, I ride in honor of my courageous, strong and resilient patients. I ride for THEM. I am not in shape, and it is really hard. I ride for my patients undergoing chemo, I ride for those with new ostomies or urostomies, those with constant bowel obstructions. I ride for my patients at end of life and their families. I get to care for them, how grateful am I! I ride because I CAN.
100% of all my fundraising monies goes directly to support Dana-Farber's tireless commitment to finding cures for different cancers.
I am a member of the Riverside Rockets team from Newburyport, each of us is committed to fighting cancer. As a community of cyclists, we have fun both fundraising and training. Together, we are a cancer fighting force and will raise $150,000 for the PMC this year. I greatly appreciate your supporting me in this endeavor. Thank you dear supporters, you keep me going and riding.
