It is an honor to be participating in the Pan-Mass Challenge for the first time this year! PMC provides funding for Dana Farber Cancer Institute to support patients like my Uncle Jimmy, who passed away following a quiet and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer in December of 2022. He was a spirited athlete and fan himself, through his years of football at Winchester High School and Colby College, becoming a super fan for the University of Michigan and Darien Blue Wave, and wherever else he could find a sideline to passionately support his family and friends. In 2018, Jim rode PMC himself to tackle fundraising and the 77 mile course throughout Cape Cod, with a special nod to Chatham along the way (his favorite summertime getaway spot). Again this year, I will be individually raising $6,000 as part of Team Jim's Cape Crusaders. These funds will go directly towards patient care and ground-breaking research initiatives at Dana Farber. On Sunday, August 3rd, 2025, I look forward to joining thousands of other riders on the way from Bourne to Provincetown. Thank you for your time, generous donations, and support. See you in P-town!
