The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute is the reason I'm alive today.
In 1973, my father had part of his leg amputated and subsequently received life-saving treatment by the late Dr. Emil Frei at Dana-Farber for bone cancer in his leg as part of an early clinical trial. At the time, most died from this cancer, but thanks to the enduring work of the researchers at Dana-Farber he and many others survived. In 2009, my grandfather recived care for his brain cancer at Dana-Farber and was a fierce proponent of their work until his death.
While cancer might not directly affect you, I can guarantee it affects someone you love.
Please join me and Team Next Gen to support Dana Farber and the incredible work they do!
About me: I'm Teddy. I'm an avid cyclist and someone who's lost loved ones to cancer. I'm a proud supporter of the PMC and The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Dana Farber is a world leader in adult and pediatric cancer treatment and research, with more than 5000 staff and 640,000 patient visits per year.
