PMC 2024 - ONE BILLION DOLLARS RAISED since 1980!!!
I am riding my 8th PMC in memory of my precious mother, Linda Keith, who passed away in February 2022, and in honor of Ursula Matulonis and the tremendously brilliant and kind GYN and Neurology teams at Dana Farber who cared for Mom during her 7 year Ovarian Cancer fight, and so thoughtfully and lovingly in her final months. I also ride for all our friends and families facing a diagnosis, and those who care for and support loved ones through their cancer journey. And always cheering loudly for those who have already kicked cancer's ass!
On August 3 and 4, Mark, Charlotte, and I will ride 170 miles from Boston to Provincetown, at the tip of Cape Cod. My goal is to raise $30,000 (or billions and billions) for the Ovarian Cancer research fund, supporting genetic testing, early detection, clinical trials, and effective therapies and chemo alternatives. Dr. Matulonis and her internationally recognized team of experts are setting the standard of care for women around the world. This is a critical investment for all of us!
The PMC's goal is $75,000,000 this year. PMC is a model of fundraising efficiency as 100 percent of every rider-raised dollar goes directly to life-saving cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
Mom, with all of her strength, grace, and courage, is my inspiration to ride and fundraise for Ovarian Cancer. THERE'S A LOT RIDING ON US!
With gratitude,
Erin
