I'm proud to ride the Pan Mass Challenge because cancer has affected my life in devastating ways and I want to do everything I can to get closer to a cure.
In May of 2022 my beautiful wife was diagnosed with stage III ovarian cancer. Thanks to incredible doctors, research, and science, Katie is doing great today. She receives two infusions at MGH every three weeks and those meds are keeping Katie's cancer at bay. The fight continues for Katie, though, and so many others.
After watching Katie courageously battle cancer, my father suddenly passed away last year after a short, brutal fight with acute myeloid leukemia. He was only 68. There are really no words to describe the pain and grief our family is experiencing after that loss. All I can do is raise money so that fewer people have to experience the loss of a loved one to cancer.

Team Ovarian Cancer funds Dream Factory Community Ovarian Cancer Research Fund at Dana Farber and the money we raise is given to Dr. Ursula Matulonis MD, head of Gynecologic Oncology at Dana Farber. She and her department are at work on a protocol, that our funds support, to enhance the power of Natural Killer Cells to kill ovarian cancer cells. They are treating patients now. We are a sponsor and are credited with being part of the team that made that possible.
