I'm trading in my running shoes for some biking cleats! This summer, I'm taking on a new kind of challenge as a proud participant in the Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC) — a two-day, 162-mile bike-a-thon through one of my favorite states, Massachusetts. It’s the longest ride I’ve ever done, and it’ll be a real test of endurance, determination, and spirit.
The PMC isn't just any bike ride — it’s the nation’s most successful athletic fundraiser, and it brings us Closer by the Mile to a cure for cancer. Since 1980, riders have raised over $1 billion for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, one of the country's leading hospitals for cancer research, treatment, and care.
A couple of years ago, I bought a bike while living in Boston and slowly started to fall in love with cycling. Now in DC, Neeraj and I love biking through the city and the beautiful DMV trail system. This summer it will all be in preparation for this meaningful and demanding ride!
100% of every dollar you donate goes directly to Dana-Farber, supporting the innovative and lifesaving work of doctors, nurses, and researchers. Your donation helps fund groundbreaking research and provide compassionate care to patients and their families.
Considering donating $1 for every mile I ride - $162!
Thank you for being part of this journey with me!
