Why I Ride ...
I'm a proud supporter of the PMC because it is leading a charge to beat cancer. Last year, 100% of rider-raised revenue went directly to support the Jimmy Fund and Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's tireless commitment to finding a cure. This is the second year in a row that I’ve signed up for the PMC and I’m excited to participate. What’s driving me? Well, cancer has had a deep and meaningful impact on my family and friends, particularly in the last couple of years and I want to do something about that. My Dad makes regular trips to the hospital to keep bladder cancer under control and one of my closest friends, Mark Payne, lost his battle over a year ago after a long brave fight. I know that many, if not all of you reading this, have either had your own fight against this terrible disease, have watched a loved one battle it or have lost someone close to you from it. Let’s face it, cancer sucks! Please consider donating. I’ll do the hard work for us by riding 85 miles in one day but together we can help fund the amazing work doctors and scientists are doing trying to find a cure! Thank you for your consideration.
