I am very excited to get back on the bike this year to ride in my 8th Pan Mass Challenge with Team Ocho Cinco. This year is particularly special as I am on track to cross $100K in lifetime fundraising - a huge thank you to all of my donors who contributed to my fundraising over the past decade of my journey with the PMC! Also, on July 7th my cycling team will be representing the PMC by ringing the New York Stock Exchange opening bell at 9:25 am on NYSE TV LIVE YouTube. 

There are several reasons why I participate in the PMC every year, the main being to honor my hero, my dad, who lost his battle to prostate cancer in 2017. My dad first introduced me to the PMC when we fundraised and rode together in 2015 while he was undergoing cancer treatment.

Ever since my dad passed, I made the commitment to participate in the PMC every year to ride in honor of him and the countless others that have to face cancer. I ride for the families that spend hours in cancer hospital waiting rooms. I ride for those that are missing parents and loved ones during the big moments - their graduations, weddings, and the birth of their first child. These are shared experiences that are all too familiar to many.

My dream is to live in a world where cancer doesn't exist. The Dana Farber Cancer Institute gets closer and closer every day to making that dream a reality, thanks to the donations and fundraising from the PMC.
