Why I Ride ...
I am excited to share that I have committed to riding in the 2025 Pam-Mass Challenge bike ride for Dana Farber Cancer Institute and will be proudly riding on Team Duncan in memory of my late sister Duncan Finigan. She is forever the wind on my back. This aging body of mine is screaming 'don't do it' but cancer continues to affect TOO MANY family members, friends & loved ones! This is the least I can do for those fighting the battle - ride to raise money for DFCI's world renowned cancer research & treatment so we can put an end to this horrid disease. Please join me on this mission and consider donating to my ride.
Breast Cancer took the life of my younger sister Duncan Finigan on May 26, 2019. She lived 5 years from diagnosis until passing, and during that time she never stopped believing in the amazing work of Dana Farber Cancer Research Center and their commitment to eradicate cancer. Throughout her cancer treatment Duncan proudly rode the PMC w/her 4 sons and her husband Tom as well as her oncologist, Dr Eric Winer, on Dana Farber's Team WOW (since renamed Team Duncan). She is forever my inspiration.
I ride in memory of my sister Duncan but also for all of the women & men currently fighting their own battles with this wretched disease....I am confident cancer CAN and WILL be eradicated with your continued help & mine. Thank you in advance for supporting me on this mission!
