Pedaling for a Cure. Riding for 66 #PMC2025 Dear Family and Friends, This August 2 and 3, I’ll join the Pan-Mass Challenge (PMC) community for the fifth year for our two-day 192-mile cycling journey from Sturbridge to Provincetown, Massachusetts with one mission: to raise funds for cancer research and treatment at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Together, we will get closer by the mile to a world without cancer. I ride in honor of my dad, several close friends and colleagues still fighting cancer, and in memory of my mother-in-law. But this year, I ride especially for 66 — my friend, teammate, and the person who first introduced me to the PMC five years ago. He passed away this spring after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. His strength, spirit, and friendship continue to inspire me with every mile. 66 wasn’t just a number — it was his jersey, part of his identity, and now, a symbol of the legacy he leaves behind. To honor him, I’ve set my fundraising goal at $10,066. Every dollar raised will help fund life-saving research and bring us closer to a world without cancer. I’m proud to ride again with Team CRUS11TOUR, which 66 invited me to join. Our team supports brain cancer research, especially for Glioblastoma — a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer. Inspired by Davey Hovey, who passed away at just 26, Team CRUS11TOUR has raised over $7 million to support research led by Dr. David Reardon at Dana-Farber. Donate here: https://egifts.pmc.org/DM0564 100% of your donation goes directly to Dana-Farber and is fully tax-deductible (EIN: 04-2746912). Every contribution — no matter the size — helps keep the memory of 66 alive and fuels the fight for those still battling. Thank you for your support. Let’s ride for 66 — and for everyone who deserves a future free from cancer. With gratitude,
Duncan MacKay
