Why Do I PMC?
When asked this question I started a list that became so long that I knew this needed to be condensed and simply spoken from my heart.
I PMC for humanity and dream of a day when a future generation of young adults ask the question...What was cancer? Dream...Believe...Set Goals!
The Bike of Hope Project:
My wife Diane and I came up with the idea to have a simple bike customized that donors could add a loved one, or friends name with a sharpie marker to my bike who have survived, or succumbed to cancer.
The bikes concept came from the inspiration of our local town in Putnam, CT and specifically our First Friday events featuring local artisans and crafters. As we thought about how cancer will affect 1 out of every 3 people in their life time (Current Statistics), our vision started coming to light.
The Bike of Hope in essence will be an artistic blend of survivors names and those who lost their battle to cancer. We envision so many names being added to the bike that we run out of space and people have to start signing over other names, this parallel is exactly how cancer touches a community and everyone.
With a donation of $25.00 or more we will add the first name and first initial of the last name to the bike in any color sharpie marker of your choice. On August 4th your loved one will ride in spirit with us as we honor them and collectively help pave the way towards future cures.

When making a donation please add the name of the person you would like us to add to the bike in the Message Section (Anyone who has made a donation already please send me an email of the name you would like to be added to the bike and in what color at laserlev@nycap.rr.com).
We would like to offer special thanks to the following companies that helped us make the Bike of Hope project possible, they are:
