As always I'd like to start by thanking all of you for helping raise record cancer research funds last year. Together we did an amazing job and are back again this year to do it again. Team Hope will do the Sturbridge to PTown 192 mile PMC ride together for cancer research.
Cancer sucks, is heartless and difficult for all who have or had it, and those around them. As we come into this year's ride your support means even more to the PMC's efforts with Dana Farber and their related cancer programs.
I ask you to support me another year to help those working on a cure in honor and memory of family and friends. I'll ride again in memory of both my in-laws Peter and Christine Karavites, recently cousin Michael Micalizzi, my Nonno Micalizzi, Nonna Oliveri, my aunt Marie McClanahan and uncle Mac, cousin Annie Innis, cousin Deano Chonis, our late Captain Andy E, Al Freeman, Dr. Bob, Maxie Goode, Sue P and others we've lost fighting their battles with cancer. My cousin Annie is fighting her end stage brain cancer and I will have her prominently in my heart and mind for the ride
I'm also riding in honor of those who've beat down their illnesses and are cancer survivors still with us today. My mother Carol, Rina D., Uncle Michael, Aunt Jackie, Cousin Denise, Cousin Julianne, Cousin John Innis, Fraternity brother Wayne Lamkay, and many others. (Let me know if you personally have anyone else you'd like me to add here for you!!)
It's the same ask as always - Donate today!
If you can make contribution to support the PMC, every dollar gets us closer to finding a cure and saving countless lives from cancer. Thank you in advance for anything you are able to do. The team will do the traditional 192 mile PMC ride knowing we have your support each mile. We all look forward to a unified ride from Sturbridge this year and until then, thank you for your support.
My best,
-Dave
