Why I Ride ...
Dear friends and family,
In just over 2 weeks, I will be riding in my 12th Pan-Mass Challenge to raise funds for life-saving research for the treatment of Pediatric cancer! I am so proud of our team and all of my supporters, and as long as cancer continues to affect the lives of children, we continue the fight against pediatric and adult cancer. This year the Biker's Dozen hopes to cross over $5,000,000.00 in total funds raised towards the cause. With your help, I know we can make this goal a reality!
Cancer is a disease that has impacted all of our lives and it is most devastating when it attacks young children, as it did with my niece Ellie. During her treatments for her brain stem tumor, Ellie was committed to helping her doctors and the medical researchers in their work because she believed that a cure could be found, even though it would not likely be in time to save her life. It is that selfless courage and determination that fuels me to participate in the PMC and raise money for this important cause.
