Last year, I rode in my first Pan Mass Challenge as a member of Team WillPower and in support of the Dana Farber Cancer Institute. This year, I'll be taking on the ride again, but with the firsthand knowledge of just how special and meaningful this ride really is. Before I signed up last year, I would constantly hear how incredible this event is, and how impactful it is in the lives of those affected by cancer. Although I understood its significance, I only fully grasped it once I experienced the ride for myself.
The Pan Mass Challenge is a collective effort where riders, volunteers, and spectators come together to support a common goal - the end of cancer. I continue to ride in memory of my dad, John Willett, who lost his battle with cancer in July of 2016. His battle with cancer still inspires me to be a better version of myself each day and fuels my determination to keep riding.
The ride directly benefits the Dana Farber Cancer Institute and supports those who currently face their own battle with cancer. We believe that a cure can be achieved and every contribution counts towards making this reality possible!
My brother, Jay, and I will be riding alongside the rest of the WillPower team, and we appreciate anyone who donates towards our cause.
